Kura Sushi! Double & Great Festival! Hi, I'm Samurai Junjiro, born and raised in Japan! In this video, I'd like to introduce you to the Double Sushi & Large Portion Fair at Kura Sushi! It's a very popular project where you can eat luxurious sushi at a regular price!
I'll announce the total amount at the end, so please stay tuned! Luxurious sushi for a limited time will also be available! Now let's get started! We're here at Kura Sushi, which just opened on February 24, 2022! It looks so cool, like a castle!
Let's go inside now! I'm going to check-in at the machine! It's a brand-new restaurant, so it's really beautiful! This is the seat! There’s so much sushi at this fair!
Let's order a large portion of sushi first! Let's eat this luxurious sushi at the end! I'm hungry, so let's order a lot! Here they come! First up are these five plates!
It's limited-time-only sushi with more ingredients than normal! There are more ingredients, but the price stays the same! Let's start with this sushi! It's sushi made by finely chopping tuna and wrapping it in seaweed! Unlike negitoro (minced tuna), no fat is added, so you can enjoy the rich flavor of the tuna!
These days at Kura Sushi, there's soy sauce on the table! Let’s put some wasabi on top! The flavor of the seaweed and the tuna go so well together! The tuna is fresh, so it's rich but has a refreshing aftertaste! Now let's try the amberjack!
It’s thick and big amberjack! Moreover, this amberjack is "Kanburi," which has more fat than regular ones! It’s delicious, with a mouth full of fat! The flesh is tight and moderately elastic! I can't wait to see what the next sushi will be!
Next up is sushi with lots of prawns on top! Three big raw prawns are on top and this price is very cheap! The prawn is so elastic and plump! The flying fish roe is a nice accent! The prawn tastes so sweet and rich!
Now on to the meat sushi! This sushi is loaded with roast beef! There’s so much meat, you can't see the rice at all! The sweet sauce goes so well with the roast beef! The meat is moist and has just the right amount of fat!
It's luxurious sushi that is satisfying to eat! Next up, I’ll eat particularly big sushi! This is sushi with crab fishcake tempura on top! The tempura is so big it's sticking out of the plate! It's hot because it's freshly fried!
I can barely grab it with my chopsticks! The batter is nice and crispy! The crab fishcake is so soft and fluffy! I can taste the crab flavor, and it's delicious! It’s perfect sushi for this fair!
Next, I'll order twice as big sushi! I'll also order luxurious, limited-time-only sushi! Here comes the sushi! All the sushi has very large ingredients! It's a size you don't often see in conveyor belt sushi!
It's hard to decide which sushi to eat! Let's start with the most
popular sushi, tuna! This tuna is a medium fatty tuna! At regular Kura Sushi, one piece is this price, but at this fair, two pieces are the same price! That's a great deal!
It has so much fat that it bounces off the soy sauce! If you put it in your mouth, it will melt and disappear! It seems like the tuna at Kura Sushi gets better every time I come! Next up is sushi with seared fatty tuna! It smells so good!
The searing process removes excess fat and makes it refreshing! It's got more flavor and sweetness, and tastes richer than medium fatty tuna eaten raw! Next, I'll have salmon! This salmon is twice the size of the regular sashimi for the same price! That's a great deal!
The fat is so well-marbled, it looks delicious just by looking at it! If you put it in your mouth, it melts! It's fresh, so there's no smell, and it tastes so refreshing! By the way, the No.
1 sushi ranking by people around the world is salmon!
The next sushi is also salmon! This salmon is marinated in a spicy sauce! And this fair has double the amount of salmon! The spicy salmon and the nori seaweed go great together! The green onions have a nice texture too!
It tastes spicy and addictive! Next up is sushi with lots of crab on top! It's a very cheap price for so much crab! If you go to a high-class sushi restaurant, it will cost more than double! Let’s put some soy sauce and eat!
The fluffy texture of the crab is so sweet! The flying fish roe is a nice accent! It’s amazing that you can get such luxurious sushi for under $2! Next, is shrimp tempura wrapped in nori seaweed! Usually, there's one shrimp, but this one has two!
Let's take a look inside! It's got steamed shrimp seasoned with mayonnaise! The crispy texture of tempura and creamy shrimp go great together! It's so good you won't believe it's under a dollar! Lastly, I would like to introduce limited-time-only sushi!
It's sushi with salmon roe, sea urchin, scallops, and abalone! The abalone on the shell is gorgeous! It looks like sushi from a fancy restaurant! The sea urchin tastes so rich! It goes great with salmon roe seasoned with soy sauce!
The scallops are thick and sweet! The abalone has a nice crunchy texture! It's so delicious to taste all the different textures! It's amazing that you can get such luxurious sushi at Kura Sushi! I'm full!
Now, how much do you think is the total amount this time? The answer is $24.95 (2,880 Japanese yen)! I can't believe this price for a large portion of sushi! That's what I call Kura Sushi!
